Walk to Defeat ALS Lehigh Valley

Team #JennieStong<3

Hello Friends and Family,

We are walking in our 3rd annual Walk to Defeat ALS in memory of my mom
Jennie.  As many of you know, my mom lost her battle with ALS in January 2020. She passed away peacefully 7 short months after being diagnosed. We are so grateful for every moment we had with her and we still miss her every day! We will forever be inspired by her and her strength throughout her battle with this terrible disease. Which is why we put our energy in to helping raise money to find a cure for ALS.

Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) is a progressive fatal neuromuscular disease, that slowly robs the body of its ability to walk, speak, swallow and breathe. The life expectancy of a person with ALS averages 2 to 5 years from the time of diagnosis. ALS can strike anyone, and presently there is no known cause or cure. That is why we are walking, to help change the statistics. To bring help and hope to those living with the disease.
The past four years have brought incredible advancements in ALS research, expanded access to care for people living with ALS, and enabled legislation that impacts the quality of life of people with ALS and their families. But, we can’t stop now!

The Walk to Defeat ALS raises funds to support those affected by ALS and spreads awareness of the urgency to find treatments and a cure.  Again this year, I will be walking with my son Adam on team #JennieStrong.  With your help, we will be able to make a difference in the lives of people affected by this disease.

Stay tuned for my #TeamJennie donation goal progress.

Love to you all. God bless.

Sheril and Adam
