PLEASE consider donating!!! Our family will be walking in Ocean City on 9/16/2023 in memory of my grandmother Adeline, her siblings and nephew.
We will be walking in honor of my father, Bill O'Sullivan who is currently battling ALS.
We will be walking to find a cure for my children - Hailey and Christopher, my brother, myself, my cousins, my aunts, my uncles, my cousin's children and anyone battling ALS or who could possibly battle it in the future.
It is more important than ever for my family to find a treatment or even better a cure for this horrible disease.
I have personally talked and met with some of the top doctors that are researching treatments for ALS in the US. They are close to a treatment. They are close to a treatment for Pre-fALS. The only way to get there is continue research is to raise awareness and raise money!!!!

The Walk to Defeat ALS raises funds to support those affected by ALS and to spread awareness of the urgency to find treatments and a cure.
Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) is a progressive, fatal neuromuscular disease that slowly robs the body of its ability to walk, speak, swallow and breathe. The life expectancy of a person with ALS averages 2 to 5 years from the time of diagnosis. ALS can strike anyone, and presently there is no known cause or cure.
That's why I'm walking. To change the statistics. To bring help and hope to those living with the disease. To ensure that no one ever hears the words: "You have ALS" again.
The past three years have brought incredible advancements in ALS research, expanded access to care for people living with ALS, and enabled legislation that impacts the quality of life of people with ALS and their families.
But we can't stop now. The key to a cure begins with you.
